Northern Jet, a premier private jet charter operator, is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources (HR) Intern to join our elite team.

Role:

Northern Jet is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Intern to join our team for a summer internship opportunity. This role will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, working directly with the Vice President of HR. Northern Jet will ensure this role has exposure to diverse HR functions and projects, providing a well-rounded learning experience. In this position, successful Interns may have a potential for future career opportunities within Northern Jet based on performance and business needs.

This is a Seasonal position based in our headquarters in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:

· Support employee onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.

· Assist with HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and organizing personnel files.

· Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing company events, coordinating employee recognition programs, and gathering feedback.

· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.

· Support HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, training and development, and employee relations.

· Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and responding to inquiries.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or related field.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Interest in aviation a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting, predominately in an office environment.

· Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

· Travel up to 10%
