Responsibilities:

  • Sell private jet charters to retail individuals and wholesale brokers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the aviation or luxury travel industry.· 2 years of aviation experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with private jet operations and aircraft types (CJ3, LearJets, Citation Xs, Challenger 300s and 600s) is a plus.
  • Experience working inside of aviation SaaS systems

Northern Jet, a premier private jet charter operator, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our elite team.

Role:

In this role you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company operated aircraft in accordance with Northern Jet's policies and procedures. It is important to us that all employees work together to ensure company operational goals are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance and documentation is executed in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and procedures, and all applicable maintenance manuals. Our current fleet is comprised of CJ3, CJ3+, Citation X, Challenger 604, Challenger 605, Lear Jets, G150, Hawker, XLS, Challenger 300, & a Sovereign.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensure aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable FARs, company policies, and applicable maintenance manuals to include specific chapters.
  • Hold responsibility for correcting compliance or safety issues when directed by Director of Operations, Director / Assistant Director of Maintenance, or Lead Mechanic.
  • Hold responsibility for validating / confirming status report data as required.
  • Verify part number / serial number are correctly associated with aircraft documentation.
  • Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and professional manner.
  • Perform occasional maintenance on shop aircraft service equipment.
  • Request parts and supplies as required to maintain shop supply.
  • Other duties may be assigned on occasion.
  • Occasional travel will be required for aircraft AOG resolution
  • Rotating on call schedule shared with maintenance team

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close activities.
    • Handle assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals.
    • Maintain operational management accounts.
  • Compliance:
    • Monitor policies and procedures for assigned departments.
    • Identify areas for improvement in accounting reporting and recording procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements.
  • Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
    • Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets.
    • Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance, or at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in audit accounting.
  • Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Perform line technician duties, including but not limited to:

· Load/unload cargo baggage up to 50 lbs. within confined areas by hand.

· Provide hand/arm signals for arrival and departure of general aviation providing guide function for pilots.

· Operate ground equipment, forklift, tug, etc.

· Cleaning and servicing of various aircraft, including cabin interiors, aircraft exterior, draining lavatories, removing, and installing cabin supplies.

· Filling fuel truck from storage tanks; driving fuel truck.

· Fueling aircraft for various sized equipment with a hose weighing 50-60 lbs.

· Towing aircraft as needed for positioning or stowing in hangars.

· Connect/disconnect aircraft tow bars and equipment weighing 20+ lbs.

· May be assigned to assist in monitoring security of facility.

· May be assigned various routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment, including snow removal of ramp areas.

· Cleaning and servicing of various aircraft cabin interiors and exteriors.

· Knowledge of aircrafts and type of products that are approved for use on each type of surface.

· Wash and detail exterior and interior of cars.

· Assist other departments when needed.

· Facility cleaning to insure a clean and safe work area when working on aircraft.

· Maintain high level of safety for personnel and aircraft.

· Communication with other departments for schedule completions

· Electronically enter work order and time data for billing purposes.

· Track aircraft schedule via computer for work assignments.

· Other duties as assigned to conduct business.

Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED and ability to work a flexible shift including weekends, holidays and days-off.

-Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

-Basic computer skills.

-Provide a high degree of customer service and ability to prepare customer paperwork as needed for services using basic math.

-Ability to lift 50-60 lbs, climb a ladder, hold 25 lbs hose in bucket 10-15ft. in the air.

-Ability to undergo a security threat assessment and criminal history records check for Airport Issued Identification Badges.

-Submit to an initial drug test along with random drug and alcohol testing in order to comply with safety and company guidelines.

Schedule:
Northern Jet offers both an 8/6 and 15/13 schedule across all aircraft types.
Home basing available across all positions.
Travel days are only during your ‘on’ rotation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Captain flying both Part 91 and 135 on-demand.
Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to flight operations, duty times, and pilot
qualifications. Comply with company procedures for reporting discrepancies with the aircraft during flight
and ground operations. Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned by company management.


PIC Minimum Requirements:

2300 Total time
Current 1st Class Medical
Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot License

Captain Compensation

  • Earn up to $300,000+ per year.
  • $1,150.00 per day for flying on days off. Flying during off schedule is at sole discretion of employee.
  • 80% Company-paid medical, vision, dental, & disability insurance for the employee and all dependents
  • 401(k) 100% match up to 3%
  • $75 per day Domestic per diem and $120 per day International per diem paid for every day you are away from home.
  • Double pay on holidays worked
  • Double per diem on holidays worked
  • On travel days, if arriving at home airport after 2200L-0300L next day: $350
  • After 0300L next day: Incentive day pay rate
