Aviation Maintenance Technician

Northern Jet, a premier private jet charter operator, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our elite team.

Role:

In this role you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company operated aircraft in accordance with Northern Jet’s policies and procedures. It is important to us that all employees work together to ensure company operational goals are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance and documentation is executed in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and procedures, and all applicable maintenance manuals. Our current fleet is comprised of CJ3, CJ3+, Citation X, Challenger 604, Challenger 605, Lear Jets, G150, Hawker, XLS, Challenger 300, & a Sovereign.

Responsibilities:

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable FARs, company policies, and applicable maintenance manuals to include specific chapters.
• Hold responsibility for correcting compliance or safety issues when directed by Director of Operations, Director / Assistant Director of Maintenance, or Lead Mechanic.
• Hold responsibility for validating / confirming status report data as required.
• Verify part number / serial number are correctly associated with aircraft documentation.
• Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and professional manner.
• Perform occasional maintenance on shop aircraft service equipment.
• Request parts and supplies as required to maintain shop supply.
• Other duties may be assigned on occasion.
• Occasional travel will be required for aircraft AOG resolution
• Rotating on call schedule shared with maintenance team

Skill Requirements

• 3+ years fixed wing maintenance experience
• Fluent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35+ / hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4, 10-hour shifts
